About the Symposium

C-EBLIP Fall Symposium: Librarians as Researchers

For the past three years, the C-EBLIP Fall Symposium has hosted librarians from across Canada talking about their research in a variety of ways. This fall, September 27 - 29, 2017, the University of Saskatchewan Library is hosting Access, Canada’s premier library technology conference bringing librarians, technicians, developers, programmers, and managers together to discuss cutting-edge library technologies. Access is a single stream conference featuring in-depth analyses, panel discussions, lightning talks, hackfest, and plenty of time for networking and social events.

Because of Access's close proximity to the C-EBLIP Fall Symposium's October date, the symposium will not be held this year. The C-EBLIP Fall Symposium will return in October 2018. In the meantime, we encourage you to join us in Saskatoon this September for Access, and consider presenting your work. The call for proposals is open from now until April 5, 2017.

You can find all the Access info including the call for proposals here: http://accessconference.ca/
