In order to be considered for employment, students are required to complete an application form and submit a cover letter, resume, and timetable in accordance with the deadlines (see below).
A copy of your completed application may be hand-delivered to each of the various University Library locations on campus where you wish to apply, or you may apply online and upload each of the required documents. Online applications will be sent directly to each of the locations you select.
Only those who are invited for an interview will be contacted.
The University Library hires approximately 70 students during the academic term (September to April). Students who are employed during the academic year have the first opportunity to fill any vacancies (approximately 15) during the summer months (May to August).
We are not currently accepting applications for employment.
Applications for employment during the academic term (September to April) will be accepted between June 15 and July 15 each year.
Applications for employment during summer (May – August) will be accepted between March 1 and 31 each year.
