    Reserve Information

  • Material from the library or other sources can be placed on Reserve in the Engineering Library for short term loans ranging from 1 hour in-library use, to seven day loans. Arrangements can even be made to sign out class sets for the duration of the course.
  • Only students, staff or faculty can sign out Reserve material which is housed behind the circulation desk.
  • Class Reserve lists are left up for the term and then deleted when exams are over. Personal copies are then returned to the Professor teaching the class, along with usage statistics. Library material which was in high demand is placed on a general list until it is requested for another Class list. Material which didn't circulate much is returned to the regular library stacks.
