Subbject coverage includes: nuclear technology, bioengineering, transportation, chemical and process engineering, light and optical technology, agricultural engineering and food technology, computers and data processing, applied physics, electronics and communications, control, civil, mechanical, materials, petroleum, aerospace and automotive engineering as well as narrower subtopics within all these and other major engineering fields. Coverage is from 1884 - present.
• Inspec® - A comprehensive bibliographic database providing access to the world's scientific literature in electrical engineering, electronics, physics, control engineering, information technology, communications, computers, computing, and manufacturing and production engineering. The database contains over eight million bibliographic records taken from 3,500 scientific and technical journals and 1,500 conference proceedings. Coverage is from 1896 to the present. It is produced by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET – formerly known as: Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE)).
• Geobase - A comprehensive database covering human and physical geography, ecology, geology, oceanography, geomechanics, and development studies. Coverage is from 1973 to date.
• CRC ENGnetBASE - Access over 450 engineering handbooks published by CRC Press.
• IHS Standards - The Library does not subscribe to the full text content of this service. However, you can search technical standards from over 460 standard developing organizations by document number, title, keyword or standard developing organization and can be ordered by credit card. Please check the library catalogue to determine if the standards are already available before considering a purchase.

Access to Engineering Village is restricted to current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Saskatchewan, and to "walk-in" users of the University of Saskatchewan Library for educational, research, and non-commercial personal use.
