Historical Abstracts with Full Text (HA)

DescriptionComprehensive full text database of the literature covering the history of the world (excluding the United States and Canada, covered in America: History & Life with Full Text) from 1450 forward, including world history, military history, women's history, history of education, and much more. HA provides selective indexing of historical articles from more than 1,800 journals in over 40 languages back to 1955, and access to the full text of more than 316 journals and more than 138 books.

In 2006, HA began adding retrospective coverage for the most important historical journals in JSTOR [details]. By project’s end, coverage for these journals will extend back to the late-19th century.
