Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD)

DescriptionA bibliographic tool indexing nearly 2M pre K-12 children's books, ranging from baby board books to novels and nonfiction for young adults. Records include full MARC format descriptions with children's subject headings, many include book jacket cover images, Author/Illustrator web links, and much more. There are currently over 340,000 critical reviews from 36 review sources including: The ALAN Review, BookList, The Horn Book Guide, and KIRKUS.

Access to Children's Literature Comprehensive Database is restricted to current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Saskatchewan, and to "walk-in" users of the University of Saskatchewan Library for their occasional use, for educational, research, and non-commercial personal use. It is accessible in the library, on campus, and remotely.
