DescriptionThe complete digital edition of The Times (London) (aka The Times of London, from 1785 to 1985, can be searched "using keyword searching and hit-term highlighting to retrieve full facsimile images of either a specific article or a complete page. The entire newspaper is captured, with all articles, advertisements and illustrations/photos divided into categories to facilitate searching." The Times is the "world's newspaper of record" and covers all major international historical events from the French Revolution to the Falkland War. Coverage includes world, United Kingdom, and city of London public affairs, sports, theater, book reviews, obituaries, letters to the editor, Court news, even crossword puzzles, and so much more.
