Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Collection
DescriptionA collection of applied science and engineering handbooks published by various publishers. At this time, authorized users at the University of Saskatchewan may only access two collections: a small collection of free reference works and one licensed subject collection of over 200 e-books: Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, and The Merck Index. "Knovel's live tables let you visualize your search results- test ranges for 'what-if' scenarios, calculate complex equations- then export images and data points for later use in reports and project plans."
Access Note: Select My Subscription from the gray task bar to view titles the Library subscribes to.

View over 200 e-book titles:

  1. Merck Index: An Encyclopedia of Chemicals, Drugs, and Biologicals -- .A "world renowned, authoritative handbook of chemical, pharmaceutical and biomedical information that contains more than 10,000 monographs, 32 supplemental tables and 450 Organic Name Reactions and almost 1000 retired monographs."   2. Permanent Access Titles -- A collection of 5 reference works. Click on Permanent Access Titles to view the title list.
  3. Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Collection -- Alphabetical list of over 200 e-books, covering chemistry and chemical engineering topics, including Perry’s Chemical Engineers' Handbook (7th edition). Click on the book title selected and view the book using Adobe Reader and the “Table of Contents” to navigate.
