Library Spring Campaign 2011

Nat Sciences

When one of our students step on to campus for the first time, they are looking for helpful resources to carry out their research. Our University Library is working hard to improve access to important resources and ensure we're providing functional spaces to support learning and collaboration. The Special Collections and University Archives, an already-vast resource which is expanding in size, quality and scope as the university acquires ever more documents to be used by scholars, students and the public alike, is one example of the resources available at the University Library.

To encourage better use of the collections, Phase 3 of the Library Transformation Project is focusing on the third floor of the Murray Library, where our Special Collections and University Archives are located. New space must be expanded to allow for the storage and showcasing of an expanding wealth of documents. Digitization is also crucial to the Special Collections if we are to expand usage online and keep pace with digital evolution into the 21st century. As the Campaign for the University Library 2011 is focusing on continuing the transformation, your help this year could enable us to move aggressively towards the realization of this stage of transformation.

Thank you in advance for your support of the University Library!
