This year’s Campaign for University Library 2016 will continue the transformation of our collections, facilities and services, along with other initiatives to maximize learning opportunities. Student Learning Services – which oversees the PAL program – is just one area where your gift to the Library can make a real difference. Another major initiative is the Library Transformation Project III which continues to improve study and learning spaces, such as the new Health Sciences Library.
There are 100 peer mentors in the Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) program. Through this program, student mentors have the opportunity to help other students improve their study habits, including how to prepare for exams and essays, how to manage their time, and how to cope with the stress and uncertainty that all students have to deal with. Virtually all of the peer mentorships – individually and in group workshops – take place at the Library.
Together, we will continue to transform our facilities, collections, and services in ways that actively encourage users - students, faculty, staff, and alumni - to engage, enlighten and explore at your library
Thank you for your support! Your gift to the University Library is a gift to ALL students at the University of Saskatchewan.
