In 2013, we remain focused on ensuring that students with disabilities have specialized facilities and support to access information resources and that we continue our work to digitize materials unique to Saskatchewan, so our resources are widely available. We are also creating new student awards, such as the Edna Jen Warrington Bursary for Student Library Assistants. Created in recognition of retiring Library employee Edna Warrington, this bursary will support students experiencing financial hardship, allowing them to remain focused on their studies and improving their overall academic success.
In addition, our attention is firmly focused on Library Transformation, Phase III, an ambitious project aimed at significantly reconfiguring and refurbishing user, collection and work facilities in our Archives and Special Collections. With the support of our donors in 2013, we will achieve goals fundamental to our success, and make a start on the critical work for transformation, phase III.
Your gift to the University Library is a gift to ALL students of the University of Saskatchewan, so please visit give.usask.ca/library and give today.
