Lending to Other Libraries
Most academic, public, corporate and government libraries are welcome to borrow our materials. The University of Saskatchewan Library has two independent Interlibrary Loan units, located at the Leslie and Irene Dube Health Sciences Library (for article copies and print materials located at this branch library) and the Murray Library (for article copies and print materials located at all other branch libraries).
Both units can process requests for journal articles from our electronic databases. Please note that ILL lending of journal articles from our electronic databases is determined by individual publisher licensing agreements; some journals are restricted and their contents not available for Interlibrary Loan.
Books, microfilm and other circulating items are shipped via Canada Post. Documents and copies are supplied as an email attachment.
Please submit borrowing requests through your Interlibrary Loan system (e.g. Relais, VDX, AMICUS, OCLC) using the following library symbols:
- Leslie and Irene Dube Health Sciences Library: Docline code is SKCSKS, Library and Archives Canada (Amicus) code is SSUM; OCLC code is CNHSL. You can also submit your request via email to firstname.lastname@example.org (DO NOT use the online form below -- we will not receive your request). This ILL unit uses the ILL fee management systems EFTS and IFM.
- Murray Library: Library and Archives Canada (Amicus) code is SSU; OCLC code is UOH. You may also use the online form below to request articles or print materials from the Murray Library (be sure to include your library symbol in the appropriate box). This ILL unit uses IFM for all OCLC requests.
