Safe Study at the Murray Library
 

Safe Study Hours will resume on September 16, 2014. 


During Safe Study, the ground floor of the Murray Library is open after the library closes for student study space.   The Safe Study program is a partnership between the USSU and the Murray LibraryImage of an owl to represent late night and is available to students of all colleges.

Sunday to Thursday:  11:00 pm to 1:00 am

Friday:  8:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Saturday: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Safe Study can accommodate up to 200 users and operates in association with the ‘Student Crew’ and other USSU programs, including the Safewalk program. Students from all colleges are welcome to use Safe Study and the Learning Commons facilities in the Murray Library.  Available in the space are:

     •   Bookable group study rooms
     •   Individual and group seating
     •   Computers (18)
     •   Wireless
     •   Electrical and data outlets
     •   Photocopiers

Access to the space during safe study hours is restricted to individuals bringing their current campus identification card.
