The focus of the library's collecgtion is Canada's First Nations with an emphasis on both historical and contemporary issues. The collection includes all formats. Material of special interest to researchers are RG10 on microfilm (B.C. Files); Colonial correspondence (B.C. Files); McKenna-McBride transcripts of hearings; Hudson's Bay archives finding aids; rare books; archives of Canada "Aboriginal Peoples" CD-ROM; numerous research guides and finding aids.
