Register for DDLS
 

Distance & Distributed Library Services (DDLS) are available at no charge to all University of Saskatchewan students, faculty and staff living outside Saskatoon including internships, placements and residencies.


Books will be mailed with a postage paid return label. Copies of journal articles do not have to be returned.


To benefit from these services ensure you have registered your current shipping address. Please update as required.

Select Murray Library for all disciplines excluding Education and Health Sciences. Only one submission is necessary.

 

 

 

To request books and all other material (excluding articles) located at the University of Saskatchewan Library, please visit the Catalogue to request your book. The loan period is generally five weeks from the sign out date, allowing 3 weeks for use and a week at either end for delivery. In-library-use-only materials are not mailed out.

  1. Find the item under the "Catalogue" tab, select "Request Hold" button
  2. Select "Distance Learners" for the pickup location


To request articles located at the University of Saskatchewan Library, please complete the Article Request form.

For materials not at the University of Saskatchewan Library, please complete an Interlibrary Loan form and we will request it from another library on your behalf. The loan period for interlibrary loans is generally three weeks, including shipping time. Allow at least two weeks for delivery of interlibrary loans. When requesting an ILL please note in the Additional Information box that you are a Distance & Distributed student and include your current mailing information.
