Student Learning Services offers Smart Start each September, a week long series of academic workshops in the following categories
- Study Skills
- Writing Help
- Technology Help
- Graduate Student Help
- Undergraduate Research
- Library Skills
Classes are underway and you are creating a new routine, meeting new people and learning about resources on campus. By the end of September, you might be looking for some direction on how to find academic success in university and that's where Smart Start can help.
We will be doing a daily draw for a $50 gift certificate from the U of S Bookstore. At each workshop you attend, you receive an entry form. At the end of the week, we'll take all the entries from the entire week and draw one lucky name who will win the grand prize of a $250 gift card from the U of S Bookstore. *You must be a current U of S student to enter.
This year we are please to partner with the University of Saskatchewan Students Union (USSU), Peer Health Mentors, and the International Student and Study Abroad Centre (ISSAC), Student Counselling Services, and the Undergraduate Student Office in the College of Arts and Science.
