General
The Library Committee is a standing committee of the WCVM. The Committee serves as liaison between the WCVM Faculty, the WCVM Library, and the University Library Administration. The WCVM Library is a branch library of the University of Saskatchewan Library system, and the WCVM Librarian reports to the Assistant Dean (Client Services) of the University Library.
Terms of Reference
- To effectively represent the views of the WCVM faculty, students, and staff, and other users of the Library
- To promote and support policies aimed at achieving maximum use of the Library
- To monitor and advise on the use of the WCVM Library Endowment Fund
- To assist the WCVM Librarian to set priorities for cancellation and/or substitution of library materials
- To help identify funding sources to support the WCVM Library
- To consider such other matters which may affect Library functions.
