Firefox Secrets: Commands You Can Use in the Location Bar
Here are some commands to type into your Firefox location bar:about:plugins
What plugins and installed add-ons have you installed. Given the module nature of Firefox there's usually quite a few.
about:cache
Find out about your memory and disk cache.
Not only does this show you the size of the cache but you can list items in your cache with a link to the full file listings. This isn't just a matter of curiousity. Sometimes this feature can save your bacon. If you inadvertently delete content, particularly dynamic content, that has not been backed up such as posts to a bulletin board folder for an online course, you can fish the ones that you've read out of the cache. [Yep been there, done that.]
about:config
Use this to view config info and see the dozens of configurable settings. Don't like the highlight color in one of your downloaded toolbars - change it here. To find out more about the preferences you can set

Keep in mind that you can make errors when editing the config files so backup first. The profile is usually stored on your hard drive in the path:
username \ Application Data \ Mozilla \ Firefox
