Finally the Internet is Made Up of "Pipes"
Yahoo launches a new service, Pipes, and it's popular from the get-go. Pipes let's you create mashups, clone them with a few clicks and publish them. The service is called Pipes after the UNIX pipe command which allows you port the output of one script to another.
Offering a fresh visual programming interface to creating mashups, Pipes definitely puts the power of the programmable web in the hands of many more people as long as they're not afraid of a bit query syntax.
