I think more than half of Saskatoon will either participate in Shutdown Day just to celebrate the fact that spring is finally here.
Having lived through almost a week of near "shutdown" do to flaky ISP issues, I won't be totally unplugging tomorrow.

What's the purpose of Shutdown Day?
The purpose is to get people to think about how their lives have changed with the increasing use of the home computer, how society is changing and whether or not any good things are being lost because of this. It is obvious that computers are an extremely important and vital part of society these days.
