Linkify - A Nifty Firefox Extension

Linkify Firefox extension screen snapshot

Xenomachina has created a wonderful Firefox extension that let's you highlight a term such as Firefox in a text area, click linkify on your toolbar, and sit back and watch the extension executes a search for your highlighted term, displays the results and provide the option to Create a Link.

Now that's a tool that let's you create links in a jiffy!
