Weekend Chuckle: Supermarket 2.0 Video
Before a couple of my talks at Computers in Libraries, I asked attendees which short video they might like to watch. About half of the audience had seen or wanted to see "The Medieval Help Desk" beating out Supermarket 2.0.
Supermarket 2.0 pokes fun at Web 2.0 over enthusiastic application and applies Web 2.0 concepts to grocery shopping. It only takes a moment to see how this spoof could have been done with a library. The video was posted by Wishood, a social wish sharing site. It's definitely worth a listen ... you'll never look at your grocery store quite the same.
I also showed 10 Principles of Economics by Stand-Up Economist, Yoram Bauman.
