Ray Keighley is a Cree/Métis born in Alberta with family ties to the Sucker River Reserve near Lac LaRonge, Saskatchewan. He moved to Saskatchewan in 1978, and in 1988 he received a BFA from the University of Saskatchewan. This painter, printmaker, and carver's subject matter has varied over time ranging from still life and figure studies to abstract and conceptual pieces. Keighley is active in teaching art education to children throughout the province of Saskatchewan1and2.
