Indigenous Storyteller-in-Residence

The Indigenous Storyteller-in-Residence is a program at the University Library that promotes intercultural understanding and story-sharing between and among Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.

Literacies in Community

A community service-learning partnership between the University Library and Foundations Learning and Skills Saskatchewan exploring the connections between literacy, information privilege, and community.

Creative Write-Ins

Join other writers in the library to work on your creative writing projects. There’s plenty of time to work and discuss your project as well as opportunities to hear from professional writers in the community.

Across the Disciplines

A multidisciplinary panel series focusing on contemporary global issues offered twice per year in the fall and winter terms.

Week of Reflection

Grey star blanket pattern

Each year, the library encourages the campus community to engage in activities leading up to the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Whether through suggested readings, podcasts, movies, or collaborative programming, the library strongly urges everyone to show their support for the survivors of residential schools by participating in the many activities happening on campus and around Saskatoon.

Indigenous Art in the Library

An initiative focused on acquiring, placing, and meaningfully activating artwork by Indigenous artists in University Library spaces across campus.

Discovery Passes

In partnership with the Saskatoon Public Library, Discovery Passes offer users free admission to an expanding list of Saskatchewan cultural institutions, including the Western Development Museum and Wanuskewin Heritage park.
