| Joyce Ward is Director of Content
Classification at Northern
Light. Prior to joining Northern Light in April 1996, she worked at Digital Equipment Corporation. She was the first manager of Digital's Library Network, and was librarian for the VAX chip development team. She also managed a software development group working in the areas of videotext and text retrieval. Ms. Ward's earliest professional experience was as an original Dewey cataloger at the Mitre Corporation Library. She has an MLS from Columbia University and a B.A. in Romance Languages from Bowdoin College. |
