About Us

University Archives & Special Collections constitutes the official “memory” of the University and represents the accumulated experience of an educational community that has contributed greatly to the history and development of the province.

University Archives & Special Collections supports research: by acquiring, preserving, and making accessible records, in any medium, the permanently valuable records of the University, and books, journals, manuscripts, archival collections and printed ephemera of a rare, valuable or regional nature. The collections include materials relating to Saskatchewan, Western Canada, and the University of Saskatchewan, including works by university authors.

University Archives & Special Collections supports information management: by providing advice and assistance on issues of records management, including retention and disposition.
