About Ask Us
Library staff from all library locations respond to chat, phone, and email questions. You may be referred to a subject librarian.
Ask Us anything! We'll do our best to help you out. Any question regarding the library, our locations, or research is welcome. We may refer more complex questions to other members of our library team to ensure you get the help you need.
Yes. Depending on the complexity of your question, we might find it helpful to view your screen or to share our screens with you. If so, we will send you a screensharing invitation, which you may choose to accept or decline. Please note that we may sometimes be busy helping other clients at the same time, so screensharing is limited to times when staff are free.
You can email a copy of the transcript to yourself by clicking the envelope icon on the top right corner of your chat screen. Please note that if we have a Zoom session, the Zoom in-meeting chat will not appear in the transcript.
If you provided us with your NSID or USask email address, we'll send you a brief email with a link to the chat transcript, as well as an invitation to rate the chat interaction and the opportunity to follow up if you have any remaining questions.
