Michael Geist is a law professor at the University of Ottawa, where he holds the Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-commerce Law. Dr. Geist is also an internationally syndicated columnist on technology law issues and is an important voice in Canadian copyright development.

Howard Knopf is the Chairman of the Copyright Policy Committee of the Canadian Bar Association. He is a lawyer who practices mainly in the areas of copyright, trade-marks, cyberlaw and related issues.

Meera Nair is the Copyright Officer at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and completed her doctoral dissertation on Canadian copyright law. Her dissertation is entitled “From Fair Dealing To Fair Duty: The Necessary Margins Of Canadian Copyright Law.”

Samuel Trosow is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Western Ontario. He also serves on the Librarians Committee of the Canadian Association of University Teachers.

Ariel Katz is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Toronto and holds the Innovation Chair in Electronic Commerce.
