June 1 - EFFERVESCENCE
the eleventh day of Enchantment
This morning the pool was a mass of bubbles, each one a vessel of magic! What is it about bubbles, large or small, that captivates us, whether we are two, or ninety-two?
My earliest memory of bubbles was in kindergarten. I must have been given a jar of the liquid with a bubble pipe for my birthday. What a delight! I tore through the house at top speed while attempting to birth a galaxy of transparent new worlds. Once they were airborne I would then attempt to burst them before they popped on their own.
Perhaps it is their fleeting nature that mimics our own brief lives. Can you remember your first brush with effervescence? How ebullient is your life today?
