An unfamiliar vista greeted me at the pool today. The entire surface had the appearance of pebbled glass through which I was viewing a dappled skyscape.

Times like today allow me to see with fresh eyes and to appreciate the uniqueness of the moment. The novelty that confronts me acts as a portal to a richer experience of the word 'now'. The newness of my seeing is an invitation to transform novelty as a mere concept into a real possibility for my life.

My experience today opens the door to consider that anywhere, anytime, I can choose to see originality rather than sameness, innovation over conformity.
