June 16 - AMUSEMENT

the twenty-sixth day of Enchantment

Today the pool was transformed into a giant undersea garden. There were creatures of every description cavorting and frolicking in the neon depths.

"Maybe this is what it would be like," I mused, "if you combined an amusement park and an aquarium into one attraction." I laughed. The water shimmered. I enjoyed. The merriment continued. I felt like I was the proverbial kid in the candy store.

Have you noticed how children can amuse themselves endlessly, often with something as innocuous as a stick, or a few lines drawn in the sand? I wonder if it is because they see things in their play that we do not. At least for today I too am enjoying an exceptional dose of cheer and revelry.

How about you? Does this underwater escapade draw you into its depths? I hope today allows time for you to conjure some amusement of your own making. How close is your nearest candy store?
