JUSTICE REFORM COMMISSION TO HEAR PRESENTATIONS FROM REGINA POLICE SERVICE AND
THE SASKATCHEWAN ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE
SASKATOON – The Commission on
First Nations and Métis Peoples and Justice Reform has scheduled two important
presentations to be heard on Friday in Saskatoon.
The Chief Cal Johnston with the
Regina Police Service will be presenting to the Commission beginning at 10:45
a.m. The presentation will conclude at 12:15 p.m.
Following the Regina Police Service presentation,
several members from the Saskatchewan Association of Chiefs of Police will make
a presentation to the Commission. This presentation will run between 1:00 p.m.
and 2:30 p.m.
These events are being held at
the Indian and Metis Friendship Centre, 168 Wall Street in Saskatoon. The media
and public are welcome to attend.
