Edna Jen Warrington Bursary for Student Library Assistants

The University Library is committed to supporting students through a dynamic  student awards program that includes making scholarships and bursaries available to students from across campus.

The newly created Edna Jen Warrington Bursary for Student Library Assistants is the latest offering in our awards program. Created in recognition of the dedicated service of long-time library employee Edna Warrington, this bursary is available to students who work as Library Assistants AND who demonstrate a significant need for financial assistance.

To provide financial assistance to students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at the University of Saskatchewan who currently work or have worked as a Student Library Assistant at the University Library.



Program and Course Designations and
Eligibility Restrictions:

Open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students who have worked or are currently employed as Student Library Assistants at the University Library. In order to be eligible, students must:

  • have worked a minimum of 96 hours in the University Library at the time of application
  • demonstrate financial need
  • submit with their application a letter from the University Library attesting to their hours of employment
