What are RG10 and RG15?

RG10 (Record Group 10) and RG15 (Record Group 15) designate collections of manuscript government records, held in the National Archives of Canada, for the Indian Affairs Branch and the Department of the Interior respectively.

RG10 comprises chiefly correspondence between Indian Agents and the Indian Affairs office in Ottawa.

RG15 comprises material from the Department of the Interior, including in particular Métis scrip material.

The University of Saskatchewan Libraries have extensive holdings of these materials in microfilm.
