24/7 Safe Study Begins November 29th

Need to pull an all-nighter? As of Sunday, November 29th, the ground floor of the Murray Library will be open 24/7 until the end of exams.

Need to pull an all-nighter? As of Sunday, November 29th, the ground floor of the Murray Library will be open 24/7 until the end of exams. When the rest of the building closes at night after regular library hours, all students with valid student cards are welcome to stay on the ground floor to study in safety. 

Available in Murray during Safe Study:

  • Wireless Internet, many electrical and data outlets
  • 18 Learning Commons computers
  • Black and white printer and photocopier/scanner
  • Phone charging station
  • 8 Bookable group study rooms
  • Quiet study room (room G3)

24/7 Safe Study is a partership between the University Library and the USSU. Members of the USSU Student Crew will patrol the library to ensure everyone's safety, and Safewalk will be available.
