Beginning May 1, it’s going to get a little noisy in the Murray Library due to the construction and installation of a public address (PA) system. Work will happen on each floor of the library, but luckily not at the same time! The construction will begin on the ground floor, work its way up, and then end in the North Wing, with an anticipated completion date of August 31. Noise will generally occur from 7 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.
Don’t like noise? We’ll be giving out complimentary earplugs at the Check-Out Desk on the ground floor. Alternatively, there are 6 other libraries on campus that will be far quieter than Murray where you are welcome to study.
You can also stay up-to-date by following us on Facebook, where we will let you know when the construction moves to different areas in the building.
