This academic internship (unpaid) introduces College of Arts and Science undergraduates to professional librarianship, with an emphasis on an academic library setting. Interns participate in seminar discussions as well as appropriate, meaningful work in order to advance projects in the University Library while earning course credit. The course consists of a seminar on Tuesdays from 10 to 11:20 am (which includes guest lecturers and student presentations) and approximately 70 hours of site work under the supervision of a workplace supervisor.
