Streamlined interlibrary loan service

We have enhanced our interlibrary loan service for easier access to digital and print resources.

When making a request for an interlibrary loan (ILL), there is now one single option in the dropdown menu in the request unit field for “interlibrary loan”, where previously there were two (Murray Library and Health Sciences).

Creating a single interlibrary loan option allows for automated requests in all subject areas, leading to quicker response times and improved service delivery. For requests that still need to be manually managed by staff, there will be a larger experienced ILL team to ensure that the request is handled as quickly as possible.

All current ILL platforms, including the National Library of Medicine’s Docline, will continue to be utilized.

For questions about ILL, contact illquery@library.usask.ca or visit our ILL page.
