Reopening University Library Locations

Beginning August 3, 2021, the Murray Library and the Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Sciences Library will open for in-person library services, access to library stacks, and study space.

We are excited to announce the reopening of University Library locations for the late summer and fall of 2021.

Beginning August 3, 2021, the Murray Library and the Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Sciences Library will open for in-person library services, access to library stacks, and study space. The hours for both locations during the month of August, up to and including September 2, are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Beginning September 7, 2021, the hours at both locations will expand to Monday to Friday, 9 am to 9 pm; and Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm.

Our other library locations – the Law Library, Education and Music Library, Science Library, and the University Library Learning Commons at the College of Engineering – will open incrementally in August, with most spaces open to the university community as of August 16, 2021.

As we re-open our libraries in this staged way during the month of August, our current Contactless Pickup service operating out of the Murray Library will come to an end. Beginning on August 3, 2021, our Library Services desks at the Murray and Leslie and Irene Dubé Health Sciences libraries will be open for in-person checkout of library materials, including items that have been requested from all library locations through our library catalogue.

We look forward to seeing you in person and to continue providing safe and welcoming places to study, research, and collaborate.
