Re-Link Google Scholar to USask for Seamless Access

Did you know Google Scholar has a tool that lets you access full-text articles through the USask Library?

Exciting news! With the recent upgrades to our USearch platform, your research experience is now better than ever. However, these changes mean that if you previously linked Google Scholar to our library, you'll need to re-link it to continue accessing all the amazing resources available through the University of Saskatchewan Library.

Reconnecting is quick and easy, you can bookmark these instructions for later or --

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Go to Google Scholar > Settings > Library Links
  2. Make sure University of Saskatchewan – Get it @ USask Library checkbox is selected then click Save.

Now, when you search in Google Scholar, look for the Get it @ USask Library link on the right side of the search results. Clicking this link will take you to the full-text version of the resource through your USask library account.

Keep in mind:

  • Results from other institutions may also appear, and those without a link might be books or articles you can borrow or request via interlibrary loan.
  • These preferences will be saved for all future searches on the same device.
