The Digital Research Centre (DRC) in the University Library invites you to join us for a presentation from Shivani Sharma entitled “Virtualizing the Mahābhārata: Reflections from creating a virtual reality episode in the Digital Research Centre” which will take place online via Zoom on March 28 at 2:30 pm.

Shivani Sharma is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. Her research interests include South-Asian literature, Comics studies, and Transmedia studies. In her doctoral thesis, she is developing a semiotic analysis of the epic narrative with a particular focus on the Mahābhārata and media platforms. She is pursuing a segment of her doctoral research as a Shastri Indo-Canadian Research Fellow at the Digital Research Centre, University of Saskatchewan.
