Notes: Oliver was the proprietor, editor, printer and publisher of the Edmonton Bulletin at the time of the Resistance. His reminiscence describes the fears of the white settlers near Edmonton of being attacked by the Indians. Even though he is not sympathetic to the Indians' problems, he explains why they did not unite to fight the white settlers.
