|Notes:||Shera was seventeen when he volunteered to be a teamster in the Transport Service during the Riel Resistance of 1885. In his reminiscences, he describes the trip of the supply wagons from Swift Current to Battleford. The major event of the trip was Poundmaker's capture of the wagon train. Shera describes the conditions they were subjected to until their release.|
