Smart Start Workshops
Smart Start is an annual event that occurs at the beginning of fall term. It's a series of workshops to help you develop the academic skills every student needs to be successful in university. All levels of students are welcome to attend and our sessions are short, helpful and FREE. With topics on learning strategies, take-away resources, and tips from other students, Smart Start workshops are led by your peers, academically strong upper-year students, including PAL Peer Mentors and SLS Tutors.
All Smart Start workshops will be listed below, starting the first week of classes. Additional workshops will continue throughout the year and are listed in these categories:
Attend a session during Smart Start, and you will have an opportunity to give your feedback in October. Survey participants will be entered in a prize draw.
