Learn how to make the best use of your calculator in your introductory statistics course. We will review how to find mean, standard deviation, etc. using your calculator's functions, as well as short cuts and notation. Please bring your calculator to this workshop.

Review angles, right triangle trigonometry, unit circle definition of trigonometric functions, and basic identities. Inverse functions will be discussed if students are interested and if time allows.

Review of trigonometric functions, their graphs, solving equations, identities. Inverse functions will be discussed if students are interested and if time allows. Students attending this session should be comfortable with radian measure and the unit circle.

Tuesday Sept. 24, 2019 1-2:30 pm

For students in introductory science courses. Learn about units (including derived units) and effective ways to convert between units. Algebra skills are needed to work with units will be reviewed.
