We are offering online workshops in fall 2020. For your convenience, download each workshop's WebEx calendar file upon registration. We've created two videos to demonstrate how to add these files to your Mac or PC.
Use your calculator effectively to save time and effort in an introductory statistics course. Learn how to find mean, standard deviation, and more using your calculator's functions, and learn about short cuts and notations. Please bring your calculator.

You will review foundational concepts from trigonometry, including angles, right angle trigonometry, the unit circle definitions of trigonometric functions, and basic identities. Inverse trigonometric functions will be discussed if time permits.

You will review trigonometric functions and their graphs, trigonometric identities, and solving trigonometric equations. Students attending this session should be comfortable with radian measure and the unit circle. Inverse trigonometric functions will be discussed if time permits.

This workshop is intended for students in introductory science courses. In this workshop, you will learn about units (including derived units), the algebra skills needed to work with units, and effective ways to convert between units. As well, we will practice word problems involving unit conversions. Please bring your calculator.
