Take a step in the right direction by preparing for the transition to university life and university-level learning. We’ll help you get started! Sessions are available for both undergraduate and graduate students and are typically held in August.

The topics below can be tailored to specific cohorts of students.  These topics are also covered at various times throughout the term as part of our workshop programming.

Register for a Workshop

U of S students can register for our workshops using their NSID. An option to sign up for a weekly email notification for workshops is also available through our registration system.

For Instructors and Student Service Units

Student service units and course instructors may request orientation and/or instruction sessions on topics that fall within the Academic Skills Development program. Please contact Amy St-Jacques, our Library Orientation and Academic Transition Assistant.
