Albert John Porter

Mr. Porter's renown as a horticulturist is mainly the result of his outstanding successes in breeding and selecting improved varieties of lilies. Lilies he has developed have been acclaimed internationally by such organizations as the North American Lily Society. Over the years, he has stressed the development of such characteristics as hardiness, fruit or flower quality, and disease and insect resistance.
