The purpose of The Northwest Resistance site is to improve access to materials relating to the Northwest Resistance of 1885 held by University Archives & Special Collections. The site contains a searchable database of bibliographic records related to the armed conflict at Batoche. Some of the items on this site, such as photographs, have been digitized. The site also includes biographies of some of the key participants and a chronology of events.
This site was originally created in 1995 and is one of the earliest digital projects at the University of Saskatchewan.
