R.N. Hurley was born in London and moved to Canada in 1923, where he worked at the University of Saskatchewan at the Dominion Plant Pathology Laboratory. In his spare time he created beautiful water colour paintings of the Saskatchewan landscape.
This site contains a database of his photography, which he often used as reference material for his paintings, and well as some images of his paintings themselves.
This site was created in 2016 by Amy Putnam.
