Walter Murray: The Lengthened Shadow examines the life and career of Dr. Walter C. Murray, the first President of the University of Saskatchewan. The site brings together over 17,500 documents relating to Dr. Murray’s life and career while still representing only a fraction of the material available on Murray at University Archives and Special Collections.
This database is searchable by keyword, subject, and name. It includes photographs and audio files. The material is useful not only for studying the work of Dr. Murray but also the formative years of the University of Saskatchewan.
The exhibit was curated in 2011 by Cheryl Avery and Patrick Hayes.
