The 2011 Donor Appreciation Event occurred 13 June and was the soft opening for the new exhibition area in the Link Gallery on the first floor of the Murray library, which will have a grand opening this fall showcasing University Authors. More information on the transformation of the Link Gallery will be at that time.
For the 2011 Donor event the U of S Library Exhibition Committee showcased the diverse holdings that University of Saskatchewan Library's Special Collections has to offer, from rare Latin books to Hungarian Hymnals, from gay, lesbian, and transgendered material to prairie musicals. A complete list of displayed materials will be available below.
The University of Saskatchewan Library Exhibition Committee wishes to extend a gracious thank you to everyone who has generously donated and supported the library throughout the past years and who continue to think of the University of Saskatchewan as a way to support the arts and knowledge in Saskatchewan. Check back this fall for the official opening of the Link Gallery when the University Authors will be showcased!
